A family of brands. LAMOUR has been a best-in-class name in hosiery and apparel since 1952 — a heritage company built on quality and longevity. To bring personality to a large, minimally furnished common area, LAMOUR commissioned a striking centrepiece to carry the room. This large-scale, hand-painted mural brings together the brands under the LAMOUR umbrella with the spirit of Montreal in one bold, unified composition.

The Ask.
LAMOUR commissioned a mural for a large, minimally furnished common area — a space where a single piece of artwork would need to do a lot of visual heavy lifting. The brief was refreshingly open: include some of the holding companies within the LAMOUR brand, and weave in visuals representing Montreal. Beyond that, the direction was creative freedom — an opportunity to design a bold, memorable centrepiece that would fill the room and reflect both the breadth of the LAMOUR family and its hometown roots.
The strategy.
With minimal guidelines and a large canvas, the approach leaned into impact. We designed an illustration that brought together the various holding companies under the LAMOUR brand, alongside recognizable elements of Montreal, to tell the story of the company's reach and identity in a single piece. Bold colours were central to the strategy — chosen to command attention in an open, sparsely furnished space and to ensure the mural read as a striking focal point from across the room. The result balances brand storytelling with pure visual presence.
The Solution.
The finished large-scale, hand-painted mural transforms a minimal common area into a striking, branded space. By uniting the LAMOUR family of companies with the spirit of Montreal, the artwork tells the story of the brand's breadth and heritage in one cohesive view. Paired with bold, confident colour, the illustration becomes a stunning focal point — proof of how a single well-placed mural can give a large, understated space personality, identity and a sense of pride.
