Bringing the Brand to Life.

Hopper is the #1 most downloaded travel app in North America, on a mission to become the world's best — and most fun — place to book travel. Behind the app is a team of hundreds working to fundamentally change how the world travels. To match that energy in their offices, Hopper wanted artwork as bright and playful as the brand itself. This project brought fun, colour, and local character into Hopper’s space through a custom neon sign and two murals.

The Ask.

Hopper wanted to inject personality and energy into their office space — a fitting goal for a company that aspires to be the most fun place to book travel. The brief called for art that would lift the environment for the hundreds of creative, inspired people who work there, reflecting the brand's playful spirit. Rather than a single piece, the project spanned multiple installations: a custom neon sign and two distinct murals, each contributing to a workspace that feels as vibrant and forward-thinking as the product.

The strategy.

The approach used variety to keep the space dynamic. We developed two murals with complementary but contrasting moods: one depicting the Montreal Monuments to ground the space in local identity, and another built on bold colour blocking and fun cartoon characters to inject pure playfulness and energy. To tie the environment together and add a glowing focal point, we designed a custom neon sign. Together, the three elements balance hometown pride with the brand's signature sense of fun, giving different areas of the office their own distinct personality.

The Solution.

The result is a multi-part installation that brings the Hopper brand to life on the walls. The Montreal Monuments mural celebrates the company's local roots, while the bold, character-driven mural and custom neon sign deliver the colour, fun and energy that define the brand. Together they transform the workspace into an environment that's as lively and inspiring as the team within it — a fun, branded backdrop built to make the people who change how the world travels feel right at home.
