The ask.

To mark their 110th anniversary, the Montréal Canadiens wanted to create a collectible that truly honoured the team’s rich history and the strong bond with their fans. The focus was on one unforgettable moment: the last game ever played at the Montreal Forum. The goal was to capture all the nostalgia, respect, and history in a limited-edition artwork that longtime supporters would be proud to own and show off.

The strategy.

The illustration captures the final game at the Forum, when the Canadiens played the Dallas Stars. That night, Maurice "Rocket" Richard received a thunderous standing ovation, and the Habs said goodbye to their original home with a 4-1 win. It was the last time Les Fantômes du Forum would skate in the building that made them legends. We turned that moment into a richly detailed commemorative illustration and brought it to life as a hand-pulled, limited-edition silkscreen print. This collectible piece was made to honour both the craft and the importance of the occasion.

The Results.

This limited-edition silkscreen poster celebrates a key moment in Canadiens history. The artwork highlights the Forum's last game and the Rocket's farewell ovation, capturing the emotion fans remember from that era. Each print is made with the silkscreen method, giving it a handcrafted touch that fits a 110th-anniversary keepsake. Fans can frame this collectible and keep a piece of hockey history to share with future generations.
